Some things changed between last year and this year in my experience. There is a lots of new fashion in the dress. I couldnt find discount on the price tag or gifts for the value you pruchase. They have introduced the concept of gift coupons in lucky draw for Maruthi car. Only 5 people get the car. Coz 5 first prize of Maruthi car. But for the rest they dont have any discount wihch is strange.

Last few week rains have ruined the roads. Its not a surprise. Just thought to write this one up.

GOVT : Hey our fellow subjects are suffering without roads. Lets work on the roads and we will give them a better life.
Officers(Devil) : Ok

The work starts. Loads of stones tar and other things goes back and forth.
Road Worker 1: Its so sunny. I m so tired.
Road Worker 2: Yeah. The heat is too terrible. No rains this year then we will be in so much trouble.
Road workder1: Don’t worry the rain god will help us and we will have good rain in the city. All our troubles will go away.
Road worker 2: I wish I could make a wish to the rain god.
(these kinds of talks between the workers till they completed road. GOVT came and opened the road for public. Public are happy)
Supervisor: Enough talking. Get back to work. The roads are dirty clean it.

Cleaner 1: Cleaning the road. Oh god…its so much of heat. Why cant it rain. Rain god show us some mercy.
Boom Boom !! Rain god appears.
Rain God: Dear, I have heard you. I will grant you a boon. What’s your wish.
Clearer 1: I wish you could rain when I work and clean the road for me
Rain God: Wish granted: Boom. He disappears.

Next day it rains so heavy.
Workers and Cleaners are very very happy. Because the rain god showed mercy on them. It rained. It cleaned the road.

GOVT: Where is the road by which I came yesterday?
SUPERVISOR: The road has been washed away by the rain sir.

People : Getting mad. Roads gone. Only patches are left. Traces of stones used for road constructions here and there. Back to square one. Need repair/roads.

Story in a nut shell. The roads they construct come only for a few months.

Hyderabad…Hyderabad…Hyderabad…The city has seen a growth rate that looks very surprising for many people/ industrialists/ real estates/ software etc etc. Its is always good to see the city develop at this rapid phase. I have this inner feeling that the day Hyderabad to become cosmopolitan is not very far because of this growth.

But is the lifestyle the same. Are we getting what the city was getting before? In my last 2 years of analysis the quality of the products has degraded quite considerably. That’s mainly on food and any local products you get from AP.

The lifestyles of the people are also changing. I m *NOT* here to blame the people. Its good see that we are trying to live a different life. But because of the change in life style, the business people are exploiting us.

People do business to make money. But when the business grows up profitable to a great extent are they delivering the quality in their work? Is this because of the increase in the populate in the city or because the business persons want to make more money with less efforts?

For an instance, eating at hotels/ Restaurants were not this much high. You go to a restaurant(a good one for example Chuttneys) on a Saturday night. You have to wait for alteast 30 mins for the group to get a seat. All you could see inside are the waiters going here and there carrying all plates/ orders/ juices/ coffee/ water etc etc. But are the people at work in the restaurant delivering the food up to the quality to meet up the demand and the crowd?

My recent experience with Paradise Secendrabad is really bad. For a take away briyani and a Chicken lolly pop. In 5 mins on the queue he would have printed around 15-20 take away bills. Mostly briyani. When I came home to taste it was life less. Even one of the chicken lolly pop had a foul smell. The chicken was over roasted in the oil it looked mostly black. The onion the gave for the chicken I dont know when they cut it. It was kind of a juice.

For a change today I drove by two wheeler. The city is too bad with rain water filling up a lot of pot holes on the road. Its difficult for the two wheelers to drive when its drizzling. Well all these are well known facts for the people who are driving in the city.

How about hanging cables, electric wires. Don’t we need to be a good citizen? Whom to blame.

Just missed an accident today morning when my fellow two-wheeler in front of me got tangled his head in a low hanging cable wire. To my shock he was still driving and lifted it up and pushed it back which came and hit my neck. Lucky me and the other person coz its just a cable wire. Imagine if its a live electrical cable. Won’t we ever bother about people in our city? Whom to blame for this? Its so ridiculous to be silent about these things when your or your fellow country mate is in danger. But as we all have a mind set what will they do if I raise my voice? Who is there to care if I complain?

At least I can tolerate people driving on the wrong side of the road (I don’t encourage completely for this but cant help it especially in Hyderabad). But to my surprise when I saw a school bus carrying kids after their school getting them back to their homes was driving on the wrong side of the road.

I don’t understand that’s the instruction the school authorities or the travel coordinator gives to the driver. But definitely these drivers should be punished as they not only get the lives of the young kids at risk but also they teach the kids that it is possible to drive in the wrong side of the road in their young age.

I did not see a information “These drivers are trained to drive the school bus” or a similar message that I see in OakRidge school.

I called up the school and complained. But as usual the response, we will see to the issue sir. Thank you for the response. Is there a remedy for this?

I always been wondering that there is not a equivalent place like MG road or Brigade road of Bangalore. But I believe this trend is changing in Hyderabad. Looking at the development that is happening on the Road near KVB Reddy park, the size of building give me an idea that its going to be commercial.

Once these buildings are commercial and other small chota mota shops will start and form an echo system and I see down the line may be 1 or 2 years this will become like MG road for Hyderabad for youngsters to have a great time

It was bit frustrating and annoying today when I made my drove to Hyderabad Central. It was approximately 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Residents of Hyderabad know that the place is now chaos due to the flyover construction near Panjagutta signal.

Needless to say about the driving sense in Hyderabad, I managed my way to the entrance of Hyderabad Central. I had to wait for more than 20 mins to pass the entry gate. Reason, I m not sure, they did not allow 2 wheelers inside central parking area. One person in a bike, was arguing with the security person of central to get inside blocking the way for the 4 wheelers to pass inside. The person was so adamnt and senesless and couldnt hear to the honking noice or others abusing her from their cars. At last after 20 mins when another person in a car infront of me stepped down and pointed that person towards the traffic and all the waiting cars to central finally made its way inside.

I dont understand why people dont look around when they hear so much of horn sound. Its so stupidity that the person did not even bother to listen to the security gaurd. I dont have words to say about the commen sense at that point in time for that person.

More over the interesting point is that the person came from the wong side of the road and wanted to make entry inside. Heights of ********************************

Hyngry Kya? 30 mins or free. It works.

Today I ordered Pizza from Domino’s Pizza from Madaphur. I placed Mexican Green Wave + Garlic Bread which comes with 2 cokes free to a total bill of 262/-. The time I ordered the Pizza was 7:39 PM and the Pizza was delivered at my door steps at 8:33 PM.

I wanted to check if the 30 mins or free works. So I told the person who delivered the pizza that I wont pay him as
its more than 45 mins. He did not even say a single word. He said “Yes Sir, Sure the Pizza is free for you” and then he walked off.

This is really cool. People will have to know that they take service very seriously. Customer satisifcation is getting improved in India. I m loving it.

Domino’s You are Simply Good. Thanks for the free Pizza :)
